The Agentic AI Observatory · co-authored research

Commission co-authored Observatory research.

Work with us to produce a co-authored, co-branded Observatory, research report or continuing market-intelligence program for your clients, category or ecosystem, built on the method already applied in procurement.

What can be commissioned

Seven formats, one method underneath.

  • Domain Observatory

A bounded observatory for one domain, built on the same workflow, control and market method.

  • Market or ecosystem Observatory

The same instrument pointed at a market or an ecosystem rather than a single workflow domain.

  • Strategic-scenario research

Conditional models of how authority, platform control and counterparty response could change position.

  • Comparative research across markets

One question examined across several markets, with the differences between them as the finding.

  • Executive research report

A written instrument for a board or an executive audience, with its evidence standing attached.

  • Recurring evidence and signal program

A continuing refresh that reports what changed, what held and what remains unresolved.

  • Client-facing interactive instrument

A published, inspectable experience your clients can use rather than a slide deck.

Who it is for

  • Consulting firms

who need an evidence-backed way to show clients how a market may reorganize.

  • Vendors and platforms

who need a credible account of a category that does not read as their own marketing.

  • Institutions and associations

who hold domain expertise or data and want it examined rigorously.

  • Research partners

who want to co-author against a defined method rather than commission a survey.

Editorial and evidence governance

What co-branding does not buy.

A co-branded research programme is the arrangement in which an evidence instrument's standing is easiest to lose. These are the terms that keep it.

  • Co-branding does not purchase a preferred conclusion.

  • Evidence standing stays explicit on every published claim.

  • Rival explanations must remain possible, including the explanation that nothing structural has changed.

  • Claims stay bounded to the system the research actually examined.

  • Sponsor and author roles are disclosed on the published work.

  • No finding is created for marketing convenience, and an unsupported claim is reported as unsupported.

How evidence standing is marked
  • Observation

    Direct evidence establishes it.

  • Pattern

    Repeated observations support it.

  • Interpretation or hypothesis

    Evidence supports a reasoned explanation.

  • Conditional

The outcome depends on stated conditions.

  • Not established

The present evidence cannot support the conclusion.

How the work is divided

Domain access from you. Method and editorial control from us.

What the partner contributes

  • Domain expertise and access to practitioners
  • Data, records or documentation the research can inspect
  • Institutional perspective on how decisions are actually made
  • Review of factual accuracy within the domain
  • Distribution to the audience the research is for

What we contribute

  • The research method, and the boundaries it enforces
  • Domain and ecosystem definition, and the workflow and actor architecture
  • The evidence and claim system, with standing attached to every conclusion
  • The analytical instruments and the published experience
  • Editorial control of what the evidence is allowed to support

Working process

  1. 01 · Define the system: the workflows, actors, records, institutions and boundaries the research may examine.

  2. 02 · Agree the questions, the evidence standards and what would count as a negative result.

  3. 03 · Collect and inspect the evidence, marking the standing of each conclusion as it forms.

  4. 04 · Build the instrument and the written work, with the boundary stated alongside the finding.

  5. 05 · Publish, brief and refresh on an agreed cadence.

Tell us the question the research has to answer.

Tell us the domain, the audience and the decision the research has to support. We will come back with what the method can and cannot establish in that system.
